About the Prodigals album

Can a prodigal return home? Can a lost sheep find its way back into the fold?

Or, are some wounds too deep to ever heal? Are some families too far gone to ever reunite?

Alternative art rock band Crystal Gazer explores these questions in their upcoming concept album Prodigals.

Prodigals is a modern-day retelling of the Biblical parable of the Prodigal Son. It follows two different characters as they each run away from the small town they are from in order to set out on their own separate quests for freedom and fulfillment.

Does escape hold the solution or does it just lead to more problems? Is returning home possible or do shattered relationships make a homecoming impossible? Take this musical journey with Crystal Gazer in order to find out.

Here are the demo tracks for the album that Theron, the bassist and vocalist for the band, wrote and recorded. The band is now earnestly at work recording and mixing the final tracks in order to fully realize the vision of these songs.
